There is an interesting story, one player in UM with another player in Florida is a twins. ( I don’t know the name of them) The player who works on UM has a two role on this game. First, he is a player to attend the baseball game on home field; he must try his best to get a score. However, he is a brother with his opponent. This is an example to show role conflict, which has two statuses, one is an achieved status as athlete and another is an ascribed status as brother.
In the crowd, Florida fans had been thwarted, but due to the determination and faith they had on their team, continued singing slogans of praises to offer their team support. I could not be follow them as I remained a die-hard fan of UM.
The Florida fans inclusive of me stood up to cheer the Gators when they miraculously exploded to gain eight runs over the fifth and fourth innings. It became the role of Brian Johnson, the Pitcher and the first baseman, Taylor Gushue to score with back-to-back runs in the 4th so as to tie the at three. Then Gushue shocked many by adding his 2nd home run on a 3-run shot. I believe, if not for the constant cheering and support we gave to the Gaters, they would not have risen to take that glorious moment. Therefore, the baseball game like a drama, the ground is like a front stages, different athlete on both team and coach are like multiple role, the letterman’s jacket for athlete is a costumes. And the baseball and whistling sound through rounded lips likes props. However, the audience siting on the bleacher like anther back stages.
